49-0 is a very good idea. And I wanted to exercise this right when I went to vote today. This is the first time I'm voting as I turned 18 just last year. But when I asked the polling officer he as well as some of the other officers, they laughed at me and said that there is no such provision and that I had to vote. This either shows their ignorance or the fact that they want one of the contestants to win. So, I had absolutely no choice but to vote. On top of that, there is no provision in the EVM to vote for no one. So even if I would have been able to cast a no-vote, everyone would know about it and my right to secrecy as to whom I vote for, is denied. Something must be done about this and all of us have to make a stand to ensure that we, as educated voters, have the right to be able to exercise our powers to the fullest.
