What is Pakistan really denying?

In this world, there may not be a lot of things you can be sure about – things that you can count on.

The comic based on dialogue I suggested. Editing, and imagework by Saad.

But no matter what happens, you can bet your house, wife, and kids that the government of Pakistan will always deny proof of its involvement in acts of terrorism.

Down the years, they have turned the stall-deny-fudge tactic into a downright art. The country’s leadership has resisted being labelled liars in the face of overpowering evidence to the contrary. Not once but many times.

But what is it really that they are denying?

Here’s a comic strip idea that some of us over at Twitter suggested to Saad Akhtar of the Fly You Fools! webcomic.

Click on the pic to the left to see the full version of the comic along with two other priceless (and infinitely better) ones based on ideas by Twilight Fairy and the nameless dude who runs The Comic Project.

Some part of me is sad about the state of affairs. Another part is happy that we are still capable of laughing at it all.

  1. me says:

It is not funny that they are denying. It is funny that Sonia, her puppet PM, FM, HM etc are expecting Pakis to put the terrorists in hand cuffs and send to Delhi. What is next? Request to handover Musharraf for Kargil? Some people never learn. Stop blaming and laughing at others for your/our own stupidity and foresight and perpetual incompetence.

In another sense it is good if they don’t send this terrorists to India. At-least they will fight somewhere else and die. If they come to come here they will wait for puppet President Prativa’s pardon like Afzal Guru and eat free food with rights guarded by commies like Karat-duo and Arundhoti style intellectuals.

    So don’t laugh!

  2. What do you suggest we do then?

  3. me says:

This is what you do: If you agree then reflect that reality in your comics in funny form. Not toe the stupid ‘surprised and intellectually superior and mocking Pakistan’ stand TimeofIndia and other silly media takes everytime pakis deny their hand.

  4. @ me:

First of all, I am not against doing what you say. Secondly, this comic is just one way of looking at things. Maybe you don’t believe things can change (in Pakistan, India or elsewhere even), but I do. Thirdly, stop assuming your way is the only good way of dealing with things. You are angry and frustrated I understand. I am hopeful.
